He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Hutar and Effie Hutar; his siblings, Elaine Farah, Roger and Kent Hutar; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Farah, Dave Whitney, Melvin Walli, James Walli, Jack Walli, Milton Walli, Andy Anderson, Stan Skryzela, Jack Radtke and Ernie Walli.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Walli; his children, Tim Hutar (Sherry Korpi), Steve Hutar (Shari), Julie Hedin (Stacy), Donald Hutar (Jeanette) and Leslie Wilson (Randy Sorenson); his grandchildren, Casey, Paige, Ethan, John (Chelsea), Ryan (Ariana), Michael (A'livia), Jared, Rachel (Cory), Ayden, Alex and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Avi, Alina, Landry, Kyrie, Harlow, Aili, Kruze, Alessi, Maverick, Kassidy, Naylani, Niealya and Kendall Jr.; his sisters, Joan Whitney and Darlene Radtke; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Walli, Pat Anderson, Sharon Hutar and Rodney Walli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
