He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Sr. and Janice (Nylander). He is survived by: his wife Debra Washenesky; his children, Joshua Ableman (Shay), Denise Klakoski (Chris), Sandy Ableman and Jenny Ableman; his stepson John Ratzer; his sisters, Connie Kaufman (Brian) and Debra Zebro; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah, Austin, Mason, Ella, Jesse, Chase, Laurie, Beau, Katrina and Skylar; and his close friends, Barry Polich and Byron Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
