She was predeceased by: her parents, John Coulthart and Amy Coulthart (Reed); her husband Edwin H. Nelson; and her siblings, Clayton, Warren and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Richard, Cheryl Tokvam and Karen Tondryk (Mike); and her siblings, Phyllis Snyder and Marlowe Coulthart. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
