James Dennie Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dennie of Wrenshall, Minnesota, born in Hermantown, Minnesota, who passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Dennie and Gertrude Dennie (Moore); his granddaughter Angela; his sister Eleanor "Midge" Petersen; and his brothers-in-law, Floyd Koski, Bill Peterson and Don Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Baker; his children, Terry Birkett (Rich), Linda Wyman (Hank), Allan Dennie (Rhonda), Tina Zinter (Rich) and Carrie Groth (Dale); his grandchildren, Clayton (RaeAnn), Andy (Heather), Matthew (Lesley), Lawrence (Sara), Liz, Candice, Savannah (Sintayhu), Amber (Jacob), Jessica (Brian), Richard (Sarah), David, Alanna (Alex), Amanda (Michael) and Amelia; his siblings, Janet Koski, Mary Ellen Johnson, Barnaby Dennie (Linda) and Joseph Dennie (Nancy); his siblings-in-law, Peggy Strutt (John), Myrna Baker and Lloyd Baker (Aileen); and his great grandchild Gretta. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
