He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Lundergard and Marian Lundergard (Martin); his grandfather Lloyd; and his parents-in-law, Marvin and Lorraine Ailts.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Rae Ailts; his daughters, Tammy Lundergard of Adrian, MN, Barb Bents (Steve) of Rushmore, MN and Jodi King (Chris) of Maple Grove, MN; his grandchildren, Lindsay Bents (Zach), Cole Bents of Rushmore, MN, Sebastian, Alexander and Sullivan King of Maple Grove, MN.; his sister Linda Parker (Gary); and his in-laws, Phyllis Boyle (Gene), LeRoy Ailts (Kathy), Richard Ailts and Kathy Burkard (Duane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
