She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Mabel Johnson; her husband Irvin Schons; her son Wayne Schons; and her siblings, Jack, Kirk, Robert "Bob", Richard "Dick", James "Jim", Alberta, Roberta and Margaret.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy of Modesto, CA, Peggy Kappes of Alvin, TX, Susan Kawlewski (Lyle) of Ottertail, MN and Irvin Jr. Schons (Mickey) of Waukesha, WI. She is also survived by nine granddaughters; six grandsons; 41 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
