She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hatting and Frances Hatting (Warborg); her husband Eugene Platt; her son-in-law Mike Rieke; her granddaughter Annie Hartog; and her sister Adeline Goedken (Cyril).
She is survived by: her daughters, Loreen Gross of Worthington, Carol Kruger (Lenny) of Worthington, Michelle Hartog (Dan) of Atwater and Brenda Rieke of Atwater. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
