She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Wolters and Martha Wolters (DeLong); her husband Virgil Berning; and her brother Clarence Wolters. She is survived by: her daughter Marie Berning; and her sisters, Viola Gerdes and Mildred Horkey of Windom. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
