She was predeceased by: her parents, Niels Johnsen and Gertrude Johnsen (Christophel); her husband Elmer; her son Michael (Andrea); her former husband Marvin Bicknese; her brothers, Lynn Johnsen and Clayton Johnsen; her sister-in-law Helen Johnsen; and her close friend Willard Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Thurmer, Curt Thurmer, Barbara Mickelson (John) and Deborah "Debbie" Thompson (Dick); her brother Ralph Johnsen (Gwen); and her sister-in-law Maxine Johnsen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
