George Lester Bents Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Lester Bents (Worthington, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Bents and Frances Bents (Venenga); his wife Linda Kay Omanson; his brothers, Dwayne, Kenneth and Burdell; his brothers-in-law, Dale Lindaman and Robert Thompson; and his nephew Mark Thompson.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Bents (Barb) of Rushmore, MN, Jerry Bents of West Fargo, ND and Kim Bents of Rushmore, MN; his grandchildren, Lindsay Bents (Zach), Cole Bents, Addison Bents, Morgan Bents, Reegan Bents and Mackenzie DeGroot; his brother Leo Bents (Cheryl); and his sisters-in-law, Colleen Bents, Diane Bents, Tammy Bents, Wanda Thompson and Rhonda Goede (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
