He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Koehne and Mary Koehne (Wilberding); his wife Colleen Probst; his son Scott Koehne; his son-in-law Ryan Rutzen; his granddaughter Samantha; his great grandchild Madison Teerink; and his siblings, Raymond (Patt), Edward (Erma), Marie Cox (Bill) and Betty Nelson (Paul).

He is survived by: his children, Debra Carlson (Rick) of Rushford, MN, Stacy Rutzen of Worthington, MN, Michelle Johnson (Mark) of Sibley, IA, Thomas Koehne (Lisa) of Red Wing, MN and Mark Koehne (Lisa) of Pipestone, MN.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
