She was predeceased by: her husband James Delwin Nelson; her son Randall James Nelson; her parents, Alfred Brandt and Esther Brandt; and her brothers, Franklin Brandt and Fritz Brandt.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Marie Nelson of Worthington, MN, Roxanne Lea Lopez (Nelson) of Brookings, SD, Russell Dean Nelson of Clinton, UT and Shelly Ann Flowers (Nelson) of Denver, CO.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
