Arnie left this world on January 11, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Grote and Norma Bohardt (Essig); his stepfather Don Bohardt; and his brother Paul Grote. He is survived by: his fiancée Susan Heberle; his children, Ami Gross (Barry) of Rosemount, MN, Holly Witzel (Mike) of Parkville, MO, Megan Dube (Owen), Josh Werner (Courtney) and Adam Werner (Courtney); his grandchildren, Dawson, Elsa, Savannah, Easton, Avah, Ashton, Cameren, Zowie, Nathaneal, Kailynn, Meladie, Hunter and Jameson; and his siblings, Harold (Judy) of Burnsville, MN, John (Wanda) of Lewisville, TX, Pete and Pati Moller of Windom, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Worthington Country Club (851 W Oxford St, Worthington, MN 56187).

“The Armbrust family is very saddened by this loss. Arnie was one of my best friends during my ministry years at St. Matthew Lutheran in Worthington. His contagious smile, outgoing personality and love for his family will always be imprinted on my heart. My wife Lillian passed away in 2013. I'm sure she is giving Arnie a hug today and saying "welcome home." I also send a "virtual hug" to Ami and Holly from Atlanta. You are missed and loved! -Steve Armbrust”
