She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Vander Steen (Rodenburg) and Southwest of Valley Springs; her husband Elmer; her son-in-law Peter Vander Lugt; and her siblings, Bill, Cornie, Tracy, Gertrude, Margaret, Betty, Dorothy and Minnie.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Veldhuizen (Clare), Brenda Vander Lugt, Bev Schwalbach (Jim) and David Veldhuizen (Christine); her grandchildren, Amy Quiroga (Johnny), Krista Bos (Ryan), Brian Vander Lugt (Sandra), Melissa Prouty (Brad), Ryan Veldhuizen (Kimberly), Nick Schwalbach (Jennifer), C. J. Veldhuizen (Shawnie), Lindsey Schwalbach, Luke Veldhuizen and Aaron Veldhuizen; and her great grandchildren, Kylen Bos, Judd, Vera, Sela Prouty, Jackson, Jameson Schwalbach, Jerrah Veldhuizen and Wesley Veldhuizen.
