She was predeceased by: her parents, John Greer and Sally Greer; and her husband Feby Lewis Miles. She is survived by: her daughter Janice Miles Grizzell; her son-in-law Paul Grizzell; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Grizzell (Jeff Grizzell) and Nicholas Grizzell (Sara Baig); and her great grandchild Miles Grizzell.

Donations in Vida's memory can be made to Presbyterian Homes or Allina Health Hospice and Palliative Care.
