He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Clara; his daughter Sandy Sletten; and his brothers, Robert and Larry.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Maxine "Max"; his sons, Tom Voves (Jaymee Jackson) and Michael Voves; his son-in-law Todd Sletten; and his sisters-in-law, Bernie Voves and Colleen Voves. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
