We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2020, at the age of 76, Timothy Kelley of Woodbury, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren N. Kelley and Frances M. Kelley; and his niece Katherine M. Kelley. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; and friends.

“I first knew Tim at 3M when we started the same year. We found we both liked basketball and had season tickets for the Gophers. He also had season tickets for the Timberwolves. I would refer to him as "Tiny Tim, Mr. Basketball and the Gentle Giant." He was in the Air Force in Viet Nam and later went to many air shows. He will be greatly missed by me and many others.”

“I will always remember Tim's wide smile and cocked eye. Last time I was with Tim was several years ago at Holman Field. A couple World War II aircraft were on display there including a B29 bomber. Tim was pretty excited about seeing the old birds up close and hearing the roar of those big radial engines. It's good memory of him along with many casual, enjoyable discussions with him in the 3M computer room, a true gentle giant and pretty cool dude. God bless him. John Gagne”

“I am better for having had Tim in my life. We were friends at 3M for many years, but never worked in the same group. Being a fellow Irishman, we shared a similar humorous view of the world. It was so fun having a giant redheaded friend. We also shared a love of military aviation and swapped stories and info on upcoming events many times. He was easy to find in a crowd. I will always remember his smile, and the gleam in his eye. Rest in Peace. Steve Conway”
