With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Schmitz of Woodbury, Minnesota, who passed away on March 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Schmitz and Erna Schmitz. He is survived by: his wife Joan; and his sons, John (Suzanne), David, Steven (Sue) and Michael (Holly). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Memorials preferred to Allina Health Hospice Foundation.
