He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his children, David Jansen, George Jansen and Barbara Jansen; and his sisters, June Sinnett and Mary Lou Beckmann.

He is survived by: his son Chad Jansen; his grandson Peyton Robert Jansen; his brother-in-law Thomas Sinnett; and also Jennifer.
