He was predeceased by: his brother Laurence Gardner. He is survived by: his parents, Lowell Gardner (Sharon) and Ardith Gardner (Rust) of Roseville, MN; his children, Ashley Kopp (Casey) of River Falls, WI, Samantha Gardner of St. Paul, MN and Matthew Gardner (Heena) of Minneapolis, MN; his sisters, Cheryl Nakamura (Ken) of Rogers, MN and Jolene Schammel (Jeremy) of Savage, MN; and his aunt Berneil Hanson of Council Bluffs, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
