He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Marlene Kranz (Mundt); his son Daniel J. Kranz; and his parents, Nicholas F. Kranz and Frances M. Kranz (Mackey). He is survived by: his children, David Kranz of Hudson, WI, Diane Zahorik (Kranz) of Kelso, WA and Theresa Kranz of Saint Paul, MN; and his siblings, Jerry Kranz of Spokane, WA and Mary Byer (Kranz) of Pierre, SD.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
