He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hinz and Theresa Hinz; his siblings, Philip, Donald and Patricia Younger; his brother-in-law Tom Carlson; and his nephews, Kelly Hinz and Morgan Hinz.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine "JoAnn" Hinz; his children, Emily Robb (Chuck), Brian (Laura), Jean Hinz, John (Shannon), Paul (Tricia), Sarah Bystrzycki (Thomas), Mary Collier (Ryan) and Catherine Hinz; his siblings, Jim (Nita), Elaine Greer (Joel), Janella Schroers (Chuck), Tina Berkhoel (Jim), Pam Carlson, Tom (Louise), Grace Alberg (Mark), Terry (Jane) and Renee Holz (Denny); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Hinz, Pat Hinz and Bob Younger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (4125 Woodbury Dr, Woodbury, MN 55129). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
