He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jane McBride; his parents, Luka and Katarina; and his siblings, Joseph, Catherine, Julie (Mavetz) and Frank.
He is survived by: his children, Paul (Linda) of Woodbury, MN, Mary Shaughnessy (Joe) of Lindstrom, MN and Cecilia Cullum (Mark) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Ryan (Christa) and Miranda; and his great grandchild Jasper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
