She was predeceased by: her mother Luella Grace Maxwell (Handshaw); her grandparents, Jesse and Grace Handshaw; her father Bernard Maxwell; her husband Gene; her sons, Gene Jr., Gary, Kevin and David; her grandson Shawn; her children-in-law, Robert and Jacqueline; and her siblings, Darleen, Gerald and Darrell.

She is survived by: her children, Linda (Thomas), Diane (Henry), Sandra, Stephen, Sherry, Michele (Terry) and Tammy (Michael); and her siblings, Charles, Lawrence and Pamela. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
