She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Shawn Rafferty (Lisa), Veronica Powell (Andrew) and Heather Kill (Pat); her grandchildren, Ryann, Karsen, Erin, Meghan, Tim, Chase and Taylor; and her siblings, Patty Wood (Larry), Colleen Schmeling (Dave), Tom Clough (Mary), Patrick Clough (Mary), Tom Hamilton and George Hamilton (Judy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Katherine's name to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, St. Paul.
