With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joetta M. Barness (Woodbury, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Celeste Juhl; her grandson Carter Geyen; her parents, Loretta Heckman and Joseph Juhl; her aunt Maxine Becker; and her cousin Nicholas Juhl.
She is survived by: her husband Lanny; her children, Kathryn Peters (Marcia), Robert Kritta, Kristine Kritta, Karolyn Geyen (Stephen) and Kelly McDyre (Cullen); her grandchildren, Tony Christianson (Ann), Nick Christianson, Kallie Jo Casale (Michael), Kaci Christianson, Jacob Geyen (Emily), Cameron Kritta, Mitchell McDyre and Molly McDyre; and her great grandchildren, Kaladin Christianson and Kylar Christianson. She is also survived by Her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
