It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Cynthia Wiik (Woodbury, Minnesota), who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Schmitz and Annette Schmitz; and her sister MaryAnn Schmitz. She is survived by: her husband Alf Wiik; her children, Ann Carlson (Jacob), John Wiik (Lori), Paul Wiik (Jennifer) and Joseph Wiik; her grandchildren, Claire, Helena, Maddie, Grace, Gabby, Annabel, James, Julia, Lily and Henry; and her siblings, Jim Schmitz (Rosie), Jane Weidner and Liz Dahlstrom (Kirk). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
