He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Splichal and Marion C. Splichal; his sister Bonnie J. Brandt; his brother-in-law Tom Brandt; his parents-in-law, Richard and Rita Clancy; and his sister-in-law Maureen Moran.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Splichal; his children, George Richard Splichal (Colleen) and Lisa Maureen Motley; his grandsons, George B. Splichal (Bre) and Gabriel Splichal (Maddie); his great grandchild Mattias; his brothers-in-law, Desmond R. Clancy (Lynn) and Mark Moran; and his nieces and nephews, Tom, Michael Brandt, Desmond Clancy, Courtney Pierre and Shannon Hager.
