He is survived by: his wife Catherine R. Mentzer; his daughters, Judy Hunt (Jerry), Pat Gehring (Ron), Diane Graske (Bob) and Cathy Dvorak (Kim); his grandchildren, Chrissy Olson (Mike), Nikki Hunt, Justin Gehring (Amber), Amy Kessner (Collin), John Graske (Katie Anne), Katie Westphal (Joe), Ali Finch (Matt) and Kavin Dvorak (McKenzie); and his great grandchildren, Anthony Olson, Lincoln, Eloise Gehring, Coralynn, Ruby, Lettie Kessner, MaKenna Graske-Winkler, Calvin, Piper Graske, Jaylee, Brooklyn, Skylar Westphal, Marek, Lowek and Evyn Finch.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (4125 Woodbury Dr, Woodbury, MN 55125). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Fred's family kindly requests donations be made in Fred's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
