She was predeceased by: her husband John Gieske; and her parents, Henry Athmann and Regina Athmann. She is survived by: her daughter Gail Goplen (Jeff); her granddaughters, Alyssa and Bethany Goplen; and her sister-in-law Edna Athmann Rudeen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
