He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his son James; and his siblings, Joseph, Elizabeth, Herbert and James.
He is survived by: his children, Anne, Helen, Thomas (Clare), Robert (Patricia), Barbara Waksman (Peter) and Larry (Ann). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
