He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Pearson and Hazel Pearson (Cliff); his sister Diane Weitzel; and his grandson Isaac. He is survived by : his brother-in-law Duane Weitzel; his stepbrother Brad Baker (Denise); his sons, David (Chris), Mark (Celeste) and Craig; the mother of his children Dorothy Nowlin; his stepdaughters, Kris and Mindy; his grandchildren, Doug, Bethany Booker (Jesse), Bjorn (Katie), Graham, Lucas and Chelsea; his great grandchildren, Amara, Serena, Annaliese, Simeon Booker and Clara Pearson; and also Ellen.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home (2195 Woodlane Dr, Woodbury, MN 55125). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
