She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Elmo Rasmussen and Fern Rosemary Rasmussen (Rostad); and her brother-in-law James Schwartze. She is survived by: her husband William Frederick Hering; her children, Todd (Nicole), Andrew (Kristina) and Robin Stien (Matthew); her grandchildren, Allison (Alli), Emily, Grant, Jacob, Natalie and Samantha; her great grandchild Clayton; and her siblings, Sally Schwartze (Rasmussen) and Thomas Rasmussen (Kay).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Lutheran Church (15730 Afton Blvd, Afton, MN 55001).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Animal Humane Society (9785 Hudson Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125) or donor's choice.
