Barbara Jackson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jackson of Woodbury, Minnesota, who passed away on August 11, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, John B. Flueger, Dale E. Flueger of Red Wing, Betty Gisslen of Old Frontenac and Gini Atkinson of Costa Mesa, California.. She is survived by: her husband Carl Jackson; her sons, Bryan Arthur (Kim) of Ellsworth, WI and Curt Allen (Meghan) of Austin, TX.; and her grandchildren, Justin, Margaret Ellen, Thomas and Luke Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make memorial donations to either Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury, MN 55125 or First Lutheran Church, 100 Peace Ridge, Lake City, MN 55041.

“I worked with Barbara for many years at St. John's Hospital (East). I admired Barb's work ethic and her kind and gentle way of approaching a problem. I never heard Barb say anything negative about another person. She had a great sense of humor and a humble demeanor. I was amazed at her intelligence and her ability to trouble shoot.
