It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Arthur Hartke of Wood Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hartke and Emma Hartke (Lehrke). He is survived by: his wife Jeanetta Kolander; his children, Susan Baklarz (Mike) of Estero, FL, Michael Hartke of Bloomington, James Hartke of Marshall and Jason Hartke (Karen) of Wood Lake; his grandchildren, David Christle (Megan) of Mountain View, CA, Nikolas, Kaylee and Jaxon Hartke of Wood Lake; and his sister Alice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Wood Lake First Responders or to the Avera Marshall Foundation, designated to Avera at Home Hospice.
