She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Muhonen and Sylvia Muhonen; her brother Dennis Muhonen; her in-laws, Henry, Hilda Keranen Roland Keranen, Elmer Keranen, EdnaMae Felak, Arlene Arvola, Louis Lazur, Art Havernen, Steve Felak and Bill Rath; and her grandchildren, Eden Keranen, Eden Laulainen and Davis Grangroth.

She is survived by: her husband Arnold Keranen; and her children, Tracie Simonson (Kirk) of Whitefish, MT, David Keranen (Marcy) of Menahga, MN, Bruce Keranen (Rita) of Silt, CO, Andrew Keranen (Laureena), Katie Laulainen (Jerry) of Wolf Lake, MN, Linda Wisuri (Tom) of Menahga, MN, Darla Grangroth (Derek) of Silt, CO, Andrea Grangroth (Justin) of Silt, CO, Rebecca Grangroth (Davin) of Williston, ND, Jennifer Laho (Douglas) of Silt, CO, Darren Keranen (Sonya) of Osage, MN and Vanessa Wikman (Edward) of Menahga, MN. She is also survived by 131 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
