She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Messner; her parent Fern Johnson (Lewellen); her sisters, Lois (Donald Menk) and Shirley (Willis Witty); and her in-laws, Delores (Cornelius Messerli), Elaine (Ray Rettig), Roland (Melva Messner), Lois Messner (Marlyn), Rose Alice (Roy Howk) and Avice (Willmar Lehrke).
She is survived by: her children, Tony Messner (Nancy) of Hancock, MN, Ron Messner (Pam) of Morton, IL and Dixie Messner of Winthrop, MN; her grandchildren, Michael (Rachel), Andrew (Kara), David (Bethany), Jonathan (Holly), Daniel (Kasey), Heather Walder (Aaron), Mark (Laura) and Mayone Messner; and her brother-in-law Marlyn Messner. She is also survived by 31 Great-grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews.
