She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Hertel and Genevieve Hertel (Miller); her siblings, Mary Jo Smuda (Hertel), Jane Campbell (Hertel), Jerome Hertel (Toni), Carol Kluk (Don) and Frances Tieman (Doug); her sister-in-law Kathy Hertel (Campbell); and her aunt Rosie. She was also cherished by twenty-two nieces and nephews, thirty-seven great-nieces and nephews and four great-great-nieces and nephews.
