He is survived by: his wife Diana Thompson; his children, Alan Thompson (Debbie) of Winsted, Julie Stifter (Tom) of Waverly, Debra Donovan (Jon) of Prior Lake, Teresa Quernemoen of Lester Prairie, Jean Thompson (Lasia) of Belle Plaine, Jason Thompson (Laura) of Norwood, Nathan Thompson (Tina) of Cokato and Annette Stender of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Scott, Katie, Jacob, Rachel, Ella, Emily, Sarah, Riika, Elijah, Prestin, Cole, Josh, Ben, Isaac, Kyleah, Aubrie, Parker, Owen and Ian; his great grandchildren, Ava, Ivy, Eve, Logan, Noah, Olivia, Addison and Liam; his sister-in-law Rosalie Hesse (Dick) of Lake Elmo; and his stepbrother Marlyn Hempel of Princeton.
