He was predeceased by: his parents, August Quast and Anna Quast (Neumann); his son Jeffery Richard Quast; his great grandchildren, Josh and Braeden; and his siblings, Leander, Joseph, Marcella, Elizabeth, Donna Mae, Caroline and Celina.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie I. Quast; his children, Mike Quast of Winsted, Shelly Jorgensen (Terry) of Buffalo, Melody Hintzen (John) of Chaska, Tammy Vealetzek (Larry) of Winsted, Staci Revering (Greg) of Montrose and Jodi Gilyard of Buffalo; his daughter-in-law Carol Quast; and his siblings, Clarence Quast (Elaine), Bernard Quast (Margie), Ray Quast (Millie), Irene Rozeske, Marian Moy, Laurina Zajicek, Jeanette Stock, Rose Lindenberger, Dianne Smith, Lois Gohring and Josephine Hagstrom. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
