It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Verona Kohler of Winsted, Minnesota, born in New Germany, Minnesota, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Kohler; her son-in-law Kenneth "Ken" Westrup; her grandson Nathan "Nate" Westrup; and her siblings, Vernon Briesemeister, Donna Hermann and David Briesemeister.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Kohler (Faith) of Maple Grove, Douglas Kohler (Donna) of Winsted and Karen Westrup of Cokato; her grandchildren, Amy (Gary), John (Venessa), Ben (Melissa) and Elizabeth; her children, Marc (Erin), Gregg (Jess), Sarah (Steve), Mathew (Ren) and Breanna (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Jake, Anthony, Ashley, Adiena, Andrew, Lincoln and Harper; her grandchildren, Isabel, Hazel, Elliott, Sophie, Frankie, Mitchel, Grace, Mason and Lars; her sisters, Lavonne Guenigsman and Leana Guennigsmann (Clifford); and her sister-in-law Elaine Briesemeister. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
