With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Richard Schable Sr. of Winsted, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Schable and Gertrude C. Schable (Lucas); his wife Jane Greene; his great grandchild Emma; and his brother Dick.

He is survived by: his children, John and Mary Sletton; his grandchildren, Angie, Maria, Kaitlyn, Kassidy and McKenzie; and his sister Sherry Shable. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
