He is survived by: his wife Doris Menden; his children, Kevin Menden (Rose) of Winsted, Dawn Laxen (Mike) of Winsted and Rick Menden (Sheryl) of Winsted; his grandchildren, Racheal Ackermann (Greg), Emily Schaust (Bryan), Zachary Menden (Taylor), Jeremy Laxen (Rob), Stephanie Fiecke (Tom), Stacy Laxen (Ryan), Jesse Menden (Jenni), Jason Menden (Helen), Jonathan Menden (Brittney) and Amber Menden (Philip); and his sisters, Jeanne Vidlund, Betty Miller, Joy Holloran (Mike) and Judy Pelton (Larry). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
