He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Engle and Elsie Engle (Foster); his wife Liane B. Engle; his son-in-law Edwin Read; and his grandchildren, Aleaha and Holli.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Read (Chuck Rizzo) of Darwin, Patrick Engle (Cindy) of Winsted, Nancy Lachermeier (Randy) of Trevor and Deb Fosdick (Edward) of Lester Prairie; his close friend Theresa Fasching; and his sister Beulah Zierden of Sauk Rapids. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
