He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Barrett (Koltes); his parents, Earl Barrett and Agnes Barrett (Rutledge); his siblings, Michael, Mary Agnes Irvin (Hugh), Francis Barrett (Shirley), Tom Barrett (Laura), Jim Barrett (Ruth), Helen Allen (Jerry), Jeanne Cronin (Tom) and Kathryn Barrett; and his in-laws, Lois Weisser (Cliff), Don Dennis, Jerome Koltes (Mary) and Billy Koltes.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Barrett, Becky Burnham (Tom) and Cathy Dolge (Joe); his grandchildren, Kristen Dolge-Christensen (Justin), Andrew Dolge, Jill Dolge-Butzer (Omar), Sofi Burnham and Grace Burnham; his great grandchild Nolan Dolge-Christensen; his brother Pat Barrett (Kay); and his in-laws, Elizabeth Dennis, Dorothy Shannon (Richard "Dick") and Cliff Koltes (Peggy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
