It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DuWayne Elmer Latzig of Winsted, Minnesota, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Elmer A. Latzig; his wife Sherry Lee Latzig; his brother-in-law Willis Leistiko; his parents-in-law, August and Margaret Weber; his siblings-in-law, David and Mary Latzig; and his nephew Mylo Leistiko.
He is survived by: his mother Leona O. Latzig (Lueck); his daughter Kathy Stillwell (Joshua); his grandchildren, Cody Stillwell, Cole Stillwell, Carsen Stillwell (Alexis) and Madisen Stillwell; his great grandchildren, Trace Weller-Stillwell and Bradlee Mae Stillwell; and his siblings, Kevin D. Latzig (Sue), Janice Leistiko, Joanne Sauter (Gene) and Joyce Kuntz (Steve). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chilson Funeral Home (200 Fairlawn Ave W, Winsted, MN 55395). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (1000 7th Ave, Howard Lake, MN 55349).
