With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Malin of Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on May 1, 2023. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Malin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Greg Malin and Rosemary Malin; his sister Jan Orsborn; and his niece Allison Orsborn. He is survived by: his siblings, Ed, Dan, Jeanette Wilson (Lance), Mary Ustby (Bob) and Vickie Kloss (Dave); and his friends, Squeak of Lumpy, JT, Chub, Big Bill, Klink and Burgy. He is also survived by 12 loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Mayo Health System of La Crosse Oncology Department.

“Bill and I became friends when he was a City Engineer in Winona, MN. We had too many good times for 2 people, but I wouldn't change anything about my friendship with Bill. I knew Bill loved to travel and we "traded" vans so he could make another trek up north. I'm happier now than ever that he had some good wheels for his trips. I enjoyed working with Bill at work and in his home...he needed a 7 foot bathtub, but we didn't get to that! Rest in Pease Bill...I'll see you later.”
