It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Yackel of Winona, Minnesota, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harter and Edith Harter (Small); and her husband Henry Yackel. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Yackel (Kathy) and John Yackel (Debbie); and her grandchildren, William Yackel (Corey), Samuel Yackel (Abigail), Matthew Yackel (Shay), Stephanie Burt (Jeremy), Josephine, Elizabeth, Bodhi, Axel, Harper, Hayden Yackel, Tyler and Ben Burt.
