It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley R. Katula of Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley R. Katula to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Leger and Gertrude Leger (Lampman); her husband Anthony Katula, Jr.; her children-in-law, Wayne Henderson and Irene Katula; her grandson James Lancaster; her great grandchild Vincent Ostrander; and her siblings, Norman Leger, Bob Leger and Ramona Krett.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Yeske (Richard), Tony Katula (Sue), Jean Henderson (late Wayne), Ray Katula (Lisa), Rich Katula (late Irene) and Dan Katula; and her sister Linda Burt. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Winona Humane Society, or to a charity of choice.
