He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Blum and Elna Blum (Mueller); his wife Carol Mahlman; his siblings, Earl, Ralph Blum, Betty Ann Blum, Fern Kiese, Mary Lisowski and Darlene Lisowski; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Kiese and Laverne Lisowski.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nathan Maier (Katie), Crystal Dienger (Anthony), Eric Scow (Erin Ziemer) and Stacy Scow (Tim Dahl); and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Blake, Marisa Maier and Mariah Scow.
